As we reach the halfway point of our season, we look ahead to All-Stars. Every player in Intermediate, Majors and Minor A is eligible to be selected as an All-Star (13u, 12u, 11u, 10u) representing Poway American Little League (PALL) this summer. In order for your child to have the opportunity to be selected, you must complete the online All-Star registration.
All-Star participation is about developing the skills of advanced players, while taking baseball competition to a higher level with a winning attitude. PALL will notify players selected to our 2021 All-Star teams in June. Additionally, names will also be posted on our website. Being selected to an All-Star team is a monumental accomplishment and an even larger commitment. If selected, your child is expected to participate in all scheduled All Star practices and games. All- Star practices begin on June 5th and are almost daily (including weekends) through July 10th. Should your son/daughter not be selected, please let them know that the All-Star selection process is very difficult and that they had a great season.
All-Star Saturday is the opening of the All-Star competitions and is June 19, 2021. This consists of team pictures as well as competitions against other teams from District 31. The All-Star Tournament games begin Sunday, June 20th and usually run through early July. If PALL wins the District 31 championship, the Section games run until the end of July.
PALL will have sample uniforms/hats available to try on for sizing on Saturday, May 8th, between 11am – 2 pm. This is for ALL players who will register to play All-Stars. This happens BEFORE the All-Star teams are selected. If a player is selected for an All-Star team, PALL will provide a complete All-Star uniform; jersey, pants, hat, belt, socks, and practice shirts. The cost to participate in All-Stars will not exceed $125.00, and will be due upon selection and placement on an All-Star team.
